Hello and welcome students and families of Issaquah! My name is Kurtis Evans and I am proud to say that this will be my 5th year at Issaquah High School this 2020-21 school year. Although I have traveled to 10 countries, take routine road trips and speak 3 languages, my roots are in the Pacific Northwest. I was born here, and completed my undergrad at the University of Washington in Seattle in 2012 (Go Huskies!) and my Masters from Seattle Pacific University in 2016. I enjoy increasing my knowledge of mathematics, and strive to share that passion with you - through a vibrant classroom experience. Aside from mathematics, I enjoy hiking, trail running, exploring nature, reading, space, language, food, sports, travel and spending time with family.
